The Tractor requires 48" wide
access to the area to be tilled
Areas less than 60" wide cannot be
tilled
Amendments to be tilled in the area
need to be spread before arrival
Best time to till is 2 to 5 days
after a rain
Area will be double tilled
Area will be 'cross' tilled if the
size of the plot permits
Final depth will depend on hardness of the soil and the number of passes
Some clay based soils become too hard to till when extremely dry
